We have partnerships with voiceover recording studios around the world, where we can provide multilingual voice recordings for advertisements using character voices, promotional videos, and more. We can also provide subtitles.
Active Gaming Media's multilingual voice recordings / subtitle translations
Transcriptions are done by native speakers of the language. This service can be provided for any content, such as games, anime, YouTube videos, advertisements, as well as interviews on IC recorders and conference notes. Transcriptions can be provided in any file type the client requires.
We have a strong foundation in providing multilingual recordings for in-game movies, trailers, and more, including Japanese. A representative of Active Gaming Media who speaks the target language natively attends the recordings to ensure the quality. We are also able to provide native-speaking representatives to attend recordings held by your company.
We offer subtitling services with translated text. This may be as simple as creating an SRT file with timed text for each video file. Upon request, we are also able to embed the subtitles in the video files as well. Files are always double checked by a native speaker of the target language to ensure the subtitles are accurate and of high quality. We can also provide a native check for already-prepared subtitles.

Transcription rates are calculated as time (minutes) x rate.
The rates may vary depending on language pairs, volume, and deadlines. Depending on the volume, a free trial may also be provided.
Payment is based on the number of lines (plus studio fees, director fees, and engineer fees), and also includes the voice actors’ fees and mastering work. Other factors such as the volume of work, the language(s), and if you have a certain voice actor in mind will have an effect on the total amount. To begin with, we will consult with clients to hear their requirements, such as any budget or schedule concerns, and propose a plan that best meets those needs. Estimates are free of charge.

Our employees, who are all gamers themselves, translate directly from Japanese into their native languages, or from other languages into Japanese. As native speakers, they are able to naturally localize character mannerisms, turns of phrase, and jokes to accurately convey the world of the game to the end user without sacrificing any of its original charm.
Supporting the Development for Game Releases
When in-house engineers are unavailable, we are able to provide short-notice, multiple-language implementations and translations to ensure a smooth release. In addition, we offer porting support for clients who wish to release their games on different platforms.
Quality Control and Improvement
Following localization, native speakers play the game to ensure that the text displays properly, there are no misprints, that the language used in the game is suitable for the target audience, etc. Our experienced testers will work to ensure quality control from the user’s perspective.
Advertising and Corporate Branding
We handle banners, trailers, posters, special webpages, and other images involved in advertising. If we are involved from the production stage, we are able to quickly deliver naturally localized designs that are tailor-made for the target audience. Already produced Japanese advertisements can also be localized into multiple languages.
Administration and Marketing
We provide multilingual customer support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We respond to inquiries regarding the game and moderate video streaming and hosting services.
Fan Community Support
We offer content moderation services, including monitoring social media posts to immediately report outages or rumors, collect user impressions and feedback (NPS), and manage social media accounts to post announcements or respond to DMs. Our employees are familiar with slang, jargon, and gaming terms, making this an indispensable part of understanding user feedback and doing marketing research.
