Multilingual quality assurance
LQA mainly involves ensuring that localized or translated text displays correctly in-game, that there are no mistakes with line breaks, punctuation, or grammar in the text, that the currencies and numbers are used appropriately for each language, that the dialogue and characterizations are consistent, that the text and graphics are appropriate for the target area, and much more. Native speakers of the target language will use the app or system, or play the game to check all of these things. LQA verifies all of the text displayed, including the UI text, item descriptions, subtitles, and signage displayed in the backgrounds.

LQA/QA testers and debuggers always work in-house, with managers collecting any devices or ROMs used at the end of each shift. Accounts are strictly managed for any work done on PCs, with managers checking to ensure the computers have been shut down properly each day. The workspace is also set up in such a way that it is not in view of other departments in the company.
