The main body of work involved in LQA is ensuring that localized or translated text displays correctly in-game, that there are no mistakes with line breaks, punctuation, or grammar in the text, that the currencies and numbers are used appropriately for each language, that the dialogue and characterizations are consistent, that the text and graphics are appropriate for the target area, etc. Native speakers of the target language will hands-on with the content to check all of the above criteria and more. LQA verifies all of the text displayed, including the UI text, dialogue, subtitles, and text embedded in images.

Our employees, who are all gamers themselves, translate directly from Japanese into their native languages, or from other languages into Japanese. As native speakers, they are able to naturally localize character mannerisms, turns of phrase, and jokes to accurately convey the world of the game to the end user without sacrificing any of its original charm.

Development Support

When in-house engineers are unavailable, we are able to provide short-notice, multiple-language implementations and translations to ensure a smooth release. In addition, we offer porting support for clients who wish to release their games on different platforms. At present, we are able to port to any platform on the market.

We have partnerships with voiceover recording studios around the world, where we provide multilingual voice recordings for character voices, animations, and other voice recordings required for that different types of content. Press releases proofread by native speakers can be sent directly to writers overseas through our network, and we are also able to request promotions with local influencers on behalf of clients.
